The experience
Sardinia is not within reach of a simple ferry. It is earned by sea, from the Riviera or Corsica, and reveals itself mile after mile. Pink-granite coves, turquoise water and perched villages shape an island apart, rawer and more secretive.
The place
The Costa Smeralda in the north-east, the La Maddalena archipelago in the north, the Gulf of Orosei on the east coast: each stop has its own personality. The light is more intense than elsewhere, and the sea takes on emerald hues.
