The experience
The Grand Corsican Loop is one of the most beautiful itineraries in the Mediterranean. In one or two weeks, you complete the full tour, chaining iconic stops and secluded anchorages, never losing sight of the mountain dropping into the sea.
The place
The full loop represents about 300 nautical miles. It gathers the entire Corsican palette: Bonifacio and its cliffs in the south, Scandola and the Gulf of Porto on the western coast, Cap Corse in the north, Bastia and the Agriates in the east. Every mile, a new landscape.
How the loop unfolds
- Departure from Nice, Cannes or Saint-Raphaël, depending on your yacht.
- First stop in Calvi, gateway to the Balagne.
- Cruise along the western coast: Scandola, Porto, Ajaccio, Bonifacio.
- Ascent along the east: Porto-Vecchio, Aléria, Bastia.
- Tour of Cap Corse, then stop in the Agriate desert or in Saint-Florent.
- Return to the mainland after 7 to 14 days, at your pace.
